I suspect those two Imperial workers who had to paint and were relocated to watch the event, will kind of slow down rebels or interfere in the heist, cause they were not suposed to be there.

Also, I was thinking in silly thoughts, as always. Imagine if there is another rebel faction in there (cause there is already a pattern) and both find each other stealing the Empire. Then all goes wrong... or all goes right...

    Silly thoughts while waiting

This Uncle Harlo guy seems like the kind of person who'd be working with the Martez sisters before they allied with Ahsoka.

All I can think of now is Monty Python's Life of Brian, where The People's Front of Judea breaks in to the palace to kidnap Pilate's wife, and The Campaign For a Free Galilee is there at the same time for the same reason.

And of course, they start kicking the s*** out of each other over who actually gets to pull the kidnapping.

"Brothers! We should be struggling *together*!"

    "We ARE!!"

Very enjoyable episode. Unfortunately I see all of those rebels dying except for Andor and he might be the one leaving them to die. Skeen surprised me the most with his passion, but they all seem very amateurish at best. I really liked the scene where Syril had like 10 seconds of sun and then it was gone. Something symbolic there I believe but I don't know what.

Very interesting series so far. I notice people continue to call Karn a villain when his only crime so far is doing his job by trying to apprehend a murderer. Andor murdered someone in cold blood for convenience sake and assisted in killing law enforcement officers attempting to apprehend him. This series really is giving us a full pallet of how politics works. Mon Mothma has always been shown as a clear hero, but her zealotry towards the Empire has a personal cost at home. Her daughter had a point, Mon Mothma was making it about herself. She is doing the right thing, but at what cost? Karn was doing the right thing, but at what cost? Andor ultimately does the right thing, but there's a cost.

One note... the episode lengths for this series are great so far. Stretching this out for 10-15 minutes would be too much.

I like slow pace and time to establish characters but I need to be able to binge episodes.

I don't like binging, ( I tried binging the last season of stranger things and I just couldn't finish it, I got exhausted... I gotta find some time to finish it) but this series is so good I watched the first 3 episodes immediately, they should drop 3 episodes a week due to the length of each one, nonetheless; this is a binge worthy series ... haha. :D

Good drama, but the pacing of this series is a bit too slow for me. I hope that Mon Mothma's family will play a role in Cassian's arc, because I otherwise don't see the need for these scenes featuring them.

Seems as if the show is setting his character up to be full of seething resentment towards Cassian for causing his career to collapse and his life to turn out so bad.

I guess just wait until the season is over and binge it, but the problem with bingeing for me is that it doesn't give time to let each chapter breathe.
Yeah, based on the last episode he's probably gonna end up with Dedra Meero. She'll be curious what really happened and Karn knows it was Andor.

Karn knows someone helped Andor on Ferrix. But he only heard Luthen's voice (real voice), telling Cassian to kill him.

What is the point for this franchise to still be called Star Wars? It might as well be any generic sci-fi franchise with heavy political overtones.

Because it's specific to the "Star Wars Universe". And the Imperial/Galactic Civil War period in THAT universe's history.

    In other words, it's canon.

You say that as if this was the only Star Wars thing being made.

Great shots of this episode. Been enjoying the build up to the mission. Mon Mothma's home life is in crisis & am glad Cassian revealed he was getting paid to be there.

I was thinking, if there was a force user amongst them. The crew kinda reminds me of the Rebels crew.

Okay, maybe I’m missing something here, but… who cares about a bunch of Imperial payroll documents?! What is the plan, to tell everyone “Nyah nyah, Moff Tarkin has mediocre dental coverage”?

Or maybe they are going for the actual money? But that makes even less sense. The money would be in a bank, or maybe fully computerized.

The word payroll can mean "list of employees and what they are earned", but it can also mean "the total sum of money paid to employees". I assume the latter is the case here: Luthen is out to steal a sector's worth of Imperial salleries.

This is further backed by the talk, last episode, about (recounted from memory) the Imperials just letting "it all" sitt there on the train, and how much it's gonna weigh. It is unlikely that the Aldhani Rebel cell is after a list of paid employees.
