I agree there's no possibility to get that many prisoners away. Realistically I wouldn't think more than a hundred or so could safely make it off planet safely. It does seem like they are communicating among the levels and the timing and opportunity would be the most crucial factor to coordinate among levels. That brief power outage obviously doesn't happen often based on everyone's reaction. Could it be that a surge big enough and strong enough to be fatal to an entire room has caused a power malfunction?

I was wondering at first, being a Star Wars fan and overanalyzing props from time to time. There are fan theories on anything (including the retarded Snoke ones), but I am thinking. What if they are assembling some useless parts just for the sake of assembling them?
The Empire is already portrayed in all it's ugly glory in Andor and I wouldn't be surprised, as much as it is unpractical, if this is a total disregard and diabolical way, to make you basically assemble bantha poodoo parts for years/lifetime.

It hasn't been specified yet, if it ever will be. There are a bunch of theories and speculation, everything from AT-AT feet to TIE wing parts. To me, Death Star parts make the most sense.

I had exactly the same feeling with his mother. He will finish her.

And now am thinking he will drown her with blue cereals. And it could be the most hilarious death of the saga.

Too much shots of blue cereals. This has to mean something...

I have some serious creepy vibes about Syril.
He gets rejected pretty much by everyone, I can see him snap and do something that will affect Deedra in a bad way.
As much as this series is shrouded in raw realism, as much can you get in this fantasy world, I can see him be the idiot in action,
hindering the Empire effort and lash out on Deedra, as she clearly doesn't share his feelings back...
More so, she was actually being quite nice to him.

I had a sneaking suspicion that we'd see Syril eventually become one of Deedra's top henchmen. But when it played out as I'd expected, I was shocked to see her blow him off.

So, I have no earthly idea where his storyline is going. I swung and struck out. :)

Well, Andor is really great at not being a straightforward show and that is one of the reasons I love it.
I really enjoy when Star Wars doesn't play it safe and this show is really mature beyond my expectations.
I was thinking the same, that Syril in a classic cliché storyline goes from crappy officer to one of the biggest adversaries for the main hero.

Now I feel sorry for some, who are speculating that Andy Serkis character is a template for Snoke, unless in a joking manner.
If that is a case, what about Anakin being stabbed on New Republic prison ship in Mandalorian? :D

Let's make some bets about Syril!

Don't count yourself out just yet. It's possible that Dedra is testing Syril's resolve. There's a shot in one of the trailers that shows him on what appears to be Ferrix in some dirty clothes like maybe he's trying to blend in... He may be working undercover for ISB or maybe he's gone vigilante in hopes of impressing Dedra with some "heroic" gesture toward catching Cassian. The vigilante idea fits his typical agenda of ignoring warnings and directives in order to get what he considers justice.

With the exception of the Sequel Trilogy, the Star Wars saga hasn't played it safe since 1977. Which is why I believe this series is overrated. It's a good series, but overrated to me.

That’s just plain wrong. (Not the thread to get into it though).
