Also in the book/screenplay but not in the movie:

Kylo Ren investigates the Millenium Falcon on Starkiller Base (this is how he knew where Rey and Finn were running).
Han and Leia discuss Snoke more in depth (we don't get much more information except that Leia hid her knowledge of Snoke's poison from Han).

The new novelizations are canon, but anything in the novelizations that conflicts with the what happened in the film is not canon though. In the book, Finn gets slashed across the chest by Kylo Ren but in the film he was slashed across the back so the canon outcome of the fight is the film's version of events. I'm pretty sure most of the events in the novelization that are absent in the final film were filmed but ultimately left on the cutting room floor as deleted scenes are also canon provided they don't contradict what happens in the released version of TFA.

If you saw it on screen vs the novels it's canon...period. The other (non movie) late novels that do not have film to rival them are also considered canon.

Even if they aren't filmed they are canon. The only way the book isn't canon is if the scene is different than in the movie, example Finn getting sliced in the chest by Kylo Ren, in the book not canon because that scene is in the movie and it was his back.
