I think he is going to choke someone, either Galen or Krenninc, but no way to we get a Vader that doesn't do it. It's his "thing"

Hopefully we get to see some Emperor Palpatine in there as well.

Well, actually, Vader didn't use the Force choke in the final cut of ROTJ. He did in a deleted scene with Jerjerrod, but that got cut, sadly. At any rate, I feel like it's a given for this movie. We haven't seen the man on the big screen for years. The audience deserves it.

If you keep your expectations low and not expect to see a video game version of Vader just kicking a** and go into the movie wanting the story of R1 and not Vader, when he does show up it will make a great movie even better.

I don't want to speculate too much. I'm one who likes to see the movie and be surprised at what happens. I avoided spoilers to TFA like the plague! I get everything your saying. I know this is very much about the plans to the death star, and the new plot that unraveled in the last trailer. Still, there's no reason that Vader can't have significant scenes that blow us away.

Totally agree. But I'm past that point...

I think it's safe to say my expectations are too high for Vader at this point.

I think so too. Vader's appearance can't be just a simple cameo where he delivers a few lines and invokes the fear of death into his subordinates. There not saying much or showing too much in the trailer because they don't want to give too much away. I'm glad they did it this way. Too many movies show too much in the trailers. Take the last Avengers. They showed you everything that was cool in the movie in the trailer. It made seeing it a disappointment. They gave everything away in the trailer. I don't know exactly what Vader's role will be, and I'm not going to speculate too much. I do think I will walk out of the theater on Dec 16th totally pumped after seeing Vader again.

If anything to learn by....is the prequels. I learned my lesson in knowing every single thing about the films. What a big mistake. So I've strayed away from reading and watching everything leading up to the release date. It has worked out for the most part cause the last thing you want to feel is disappointed with the execution of the film. Its always best to lower your expectations...the less nit picky you are...the more you can enjoy the films for what they are.

I'm going to say, yes some people's expectations will be too high.
