Biggest space battle in sci-fi history

    What do you think is the biggest space battle in sci-fi history? It can be from any sci-fi franchise.

    Personally, I think its the Battle of Earth from Halo. A Covenant fleet vs The UNSC Defense Fleet. The covenant had 15 capital ships, but the UNSC having over 100 ships and 300 orbital defense platforms. If the UNSC recalled every UNSC ship and if the Covenant called every single ship to the battle than it would make the space battle of endor look like 2 wooden pirate ships battling it out.

    The Battle of Reach was also a long fought battle. 341 Covenant ships vs The Eridani Defense Fleet, which is just 42 UNSC ships.

    Outstanding first thread @Bloo Leeder !! This should generate some great discussion....HALO is awesome but here is one from my era. Battle of Saturn at the end of Star Blazers was pretty epic. Not sure how many ships on each side - Earth's Fleet had the Andromeda Class Battleship, first time seen in the series. Double wave motion guns.....Earth was fighting Gamilon fleet.
