    I am increasingly thinking that the kneeling black cloaked figure is Jyn and that she is a double agent.
    She looks pretty pleased with herself at the end of the latest trailer when she realizes that the gullible rebels are with her!
    Theres a good chance that the rebels succeed in getting the Death Star plans DESPITE Ms. Jyn Erso! Maybe her dad has regrets and helps them?

    My guess is Jyn Erso's a double agent for the empire. Who in the end follows through with the rebels getting the plans. Never know if there's more to her background and her connection to palpatine, and if this is a sacrifice from her in the end to get rebels the plans, or if there's still more from her in the future and possible version of Mara jade.. Also I wish she were a double agent, but not for the empire, instead for Maul's faction and possibly a mandalorian.

    Its Vader. Outside of one scene in ROTS, this is our first look at an established Vader on the big screen. Who knows if he wore a cloak or not before ANH resting from injuries. There was early concept art of Kylo Ren wearing a cloak over his armor and it looked badass. They probably used it for R1 to give us a fresh, cool looking shot of Vader

    I noticed something with the imagery of the black cloaked figure kneeling down. A lot of the layout and positioning of the characters are similar to the scene in The Force Awakens where Ren is talking to Snoke. Could be just a coincidence but you have the stairs, the somewhat hexagonal shape, the red representing the imperial guards etc. The light beaming down also. I am not at all saying that it's the same characters in both pics just an observation.

    I think that's just the Imperial Architecture/Theme. It could be a link somehow but I feel like TFA and Rogue One will be mostly unrelated to each other. R1 has specifically been made to be different and independent from the Episodic Saga of SW.
