I agree, Angelman. For big fans of the show, we know the title, "The Mandalorian," IS Grogu!!!
Like you, Mando LXXXV, the Mandalorian is my favorite Star Wars show. But we should care about casual movie fans. The bigger the audience, the more Mando content we're going to be treated to!

The thing about The Mandalorian which works in its favor as a Star Wars film is that it will be easy for the 'casual' movie goer to jump into the film without watching 3 seasons of the show IF the story is a compelling one. One of the problems with recent SW and Marvel films is that it's hard to 'walk into the theatre' cold and not be confused.

There will still be content including Din and Grogu after the movie in some form in star wars media in the future including S4 or the crossover movie and if not then it was great while it lasted.

If the casual fan is confused but cares enough then all they have to do is search a video on youtube about the show's recap. It's not that complicated to find ways and if they don't care enough to learn anything at all then that's on them and they can be gone! I get what you mean and that's fine some of you care but meh and I am in it for myself.

I'm all deep into the star wars rabbit hole lore and so I for one am all good. Star Wars Explained on youtube, star wars.com, Wookipedia.com and star wars stuff on Fandom.com are best friends when I miss some stuff in the rabbit hole and it takes a few minutes and done.

I will be there day 1 at the theater all hyped!

They might change it before its release, pretty sure 'Rey's New Jedi Order' won't be the title they will eventually go with for that. But there again - Ant Man and the Wasp.

Fans : "Mandalorian & Grogu = Lone Wolf & Cub.... Cool!"

Lucasfilm : "We're making a movie called Mandalorian & Grogu"

Fans: "What gave them the idea for that stupid name?"

    :p
