Character Reveal Endings

    Did you notice that, so far, almost every Disney Star Wars movie has had a character reveal ending?

    By “character reveal ending,” I mean a movie ends with the appearance of a character who had been unseen for the rest of the movie.

    TFA - Luke
    R1-Leia
    Solo-Maul

    TLJ sort of has a character reveal ending with broom boy, but technically he does appear earlier in the film.

    The PT and OT didn’t have a single character reveal ending, unless you count that Darth Tyranus is sort of “revealed” at the end of AOTC.

    Maybe it’s just a coincidence but it’s an interesting pattern.
