Seven years after it was released, Claudia Gray's Lost Stars continues to be mentioned in conversations about Star Wars novels. Regarded as one of the best in new canon, it followed Ciena and Thane as a young couple that lived through the events of the original trilogy from both sides of the Galactic Civil War. On September 4, the book will have its 7th anniversary and Gray still believes a follow up to the popular love story will happen.

During a Q&A session at Emerald City Comic Con (hat tip to r/StarWarsLeaks), Claudia Gray was asked about whether or not we will get a sequel to Lost Stars, to which the author responded:

Gray has continued to share this sentiment over the years, including during a Q&A for the press tour of Into the Dark, her first High Republic novel, though it seems like it is still a few years away. Over the past couple of years, Gray has been busy with new novels set in the High Republic era. Her last entry was The Fallen Star, released earlier this year. No new books from her have been announced yet.
