So one of my greatest moments as a SW fan was hearing that rogue Squadron, my ideal SW movie, was being made by a director who understood the concept.

with the film stuck in development heck, or at least indefinite hold, I’ve been wondering, could they be shifting Rogue Squadron to the small screen the never-ending search for more content. With so much of that movie just people in cockpits on gimbals, 6-8 or 10 episode seasons are very feasible if the CGI for the space battles is done right. It is a very toy-friendly idea and bigelow can hand off the series to a TV director or 3 after directing say, the first 2 episodes, while still doing Wonder Woman 3 in the near future.

O’Shea jAckson is clearly being set up for his own rebellion show in Kenobi season 1. Couldn’t his show, Andor, and Kenobi season 2, not to mention Mandalorian season 3, with its features of X-wing squadrons in the past, feature characters that would appear in Rogue Squadron…in whatever time frame they decide to set RS (I’m saying all bets are off)?

they seem be doing a dance around the material of a Rovue Squadron movie, and with Waitki’s movie coming first, I feel like they’re going to shift RS to TV.
