SPECULATION Could Dark Rey Mean a Time Jump?

    We know that there's a significant time jump between TLJ and TROS, but what if there's also an Avengers Endgame-style time jump at some point during the film?

    Aside from the fact that the sequel trilogy lore could definitely benefit from various milestones and sub-eras to set content in, I think it could also be a potential explanation for the "Dark Rey" subject.

    That being that at some point in the film (likely toward the film's end) we could get a sort of "false ending". This isn't something that's inherently Bendemption, but just to use it as an example, maybe we see something like this:

    Obviously almost all of those specifics are probably wrong, but they're just there for context. What do you think? Could Dark Rey be a sign that we're in for a mid-film time skip? After all, if she is real and this isn't just some vision or something, she's probably not going to get a red lightsaber immediately.
