    A buddy and I was just talking about this subject the other day. Of course I love finding and seeing new aliens from all over the galaxy. But there is a part of me that at the same time doesn't want a Whole movie of new aliens like TFA did. I understand the galaxy is huge and that opens up to creators imagination. I am all for expanding the story and the people we see, but I also don't want to loose the aliens and creatures I have come to love from the former movies.

    Just give me a couple of Rodians and a few Twi'lek and I will be happy. Something like the clone war series did. For every new alien that they introduced, they also had races that you knew and love.

    Um yea. Kyle Katarn among others was the main player in stealing the plans of THE FIRST DEATH STAR. Bothans we're involved in stealing the plans of the SECOND DEATH STAR or death star 2.0 as you put it. "C'mon! Brush up on your star wars knowledge dude!" :D

    The way your first post was worded
    could be interpreted as someone suggesting that R1 is retconning something, when in fact it is a common misunderstanding about the Bothans involvement in stealing Death Star plans (not for the first, but rather the second). In any event, I was just playing around and frequently my sarcasm doesn't come across from just a :D alone. Certainly no malice intended! Just trying to be funnier than I am...

    It would be cool to see a gundark, a newly rendered Gungan, maybe even an alien as a main character .

    It was a joke. I'm well aware many Bothans died to bring the rebels crucial info concerning the 2nd death star. :) that said, for all we know Bothans are super stealth with giant balls and are always used for espionage.:)

    There was a lack of recognizable aliens in TFA like Twileks and Rodians. I would like to see more of those classic characters in particular.
