    Great thread, I think I also would love to see the Jedi order 500 years before TPM. I have allot of Dark Horse Legend books, for instance, the Tales of the Jedi that delve deeper into Jedi of the past. Qui-Gon Jinn represents what a great Jedi should be.

    That's a really interesting thought.

    I have such a weird relationship (that's kind of a weird word, but whatever) with the prequels. I used to absolutely love them, then I started to really dislike them- now, though I still don't really like them, I can recognize some really interesting things Lucas was trying to do. This is definitely one of them.

    I really love the prequels but I'm not blind to the many things that could have been done a little better. I dig what Lucas did but I only wish he would have started TPM with an older Anakin. Things wouldn't have been so rushed and I'm pretty sure the story would have been better. Oh and no Jar Jar with his poop and fart jokes.
