    The contest has a theme, that's right a theme and no we're not having a contest to pick the theme.

    Finn the Stormtrooper. Let's get creative with this one because creativity is a good way to get points in my book. This contest will remain open for exactly two weeks from when this is posted and if i somehow die between now and 18/4/2015 i elect @Viral Hide as judge. Oh yeah, it's got to be your own work no kidnapping some art student from the nearest college/university and forcing them to make it at gunpoint. Or, in a more likely scenario don't just upload someone else's work from the internet. Good luck on the Finn bounty poster, may the force be with you yada yada yada and remember...

    Finn was a raiding stormtrooper,
    He and his done burned up our town.
    The others kept their helmets on,
    Their identities could not be found.

    But Finn wasn't following orders,
    Or maybe he just got too hot,
    When he took off his helmet
    The paparazzi guy took this snapshot.

    Soon there were posters aplenty,
    Most from Imperial points of view,
    But there were some from us townies,
    We had reason to want him dead, too.

    He ran off my pet bantha, Suzie,
    He burned up my outhouse too,
    He toasted my Slave Leia bobblehead,
    A man knows what a man's gotta do.

    So I tracked him over the wastelands,
    And found him out past Mos Eisley,
    I said "Surrender and come in with me,
    Or next time I won't ask so nicely."

    Well, Finn was quick with his fists,
    And I'm not a fast draw with a blaster,
    He beat me up then took off a-runnin'
    But a blaster shot runs a bit faster.

    So here's the body of Finn,
    Dragging it here sure was a doozie!
    Now I'm glad you're offering money,
    But instead will you help find my Suzie?

    Well, I do admit if I had noticed this contest sooner, I would have had a lower number too. This was fun; I haven't done a graphic design job in a long time. This is the first time I did a project with GIMP too. Took about 4 hours brainstorm to finish.:D

    It 's funny for me it takes longer to come up with an idea for something than it takes to make it. I might remake mine later down the road with a updated stormtrooper and raise the bounty, i keep and save my projects in a checkpoint set up so its easy to go back and redo something.

    I my case, it's the opposite, unless my muse is really struggling. Productionwise, I get obsessed over the details and it slows me down. Also major changes in inspiration I may have halfway through can force me to burn more time pulling a project to that new vision. For this one, it was a mix of learning curve(especially with how crop works in GIMP:confused:) and hitting a huge snag in the overall alignment when I threw on the aurebesh.
    I'd prefer Illustrator for a job like this, but GIMP is free and it runs on my little HP x360. Adobe is too stuck up to permit their software to run on a system this cheap.:mad:
