    I'm looking for images of Butler filming without a shaved head. This is due to the fact that I'd much rather see him portray Feyd with hair and not bald.

    Does Feyd-Rautha exist only in literally black & white? I'm very curious to learn what is going on there! Irulan looked to be breaking the 4th wall, which was unexpected, but I guess that makes sense since her primary role in the book is to narrate stuff.

    Edit: Scratch that; there are quick two shots (with Lady Margot Fenring & the "May your blade chip and shatter" scene with Paul) where Feyd-Rautha appears in color, so the b/w thing got to be some sort of fighting arena effect.

    Not sure what the deal is with the black and white either. It could be his mentality; the world he comes from is cold and void of color. Very interesting to say the least. He looks amazingly creepy scary in that arena.

    The Fourth Wall and Princess Irulan. Are you referring to her narrative style as opposed to how she narrarated in 1984's Dune?

    There is also the thing, if I remember it correctly, that Feyd-Rautha wields one black and one white blade? It's some fencing culture/kanly thing, IIRC. Perhaps this b/w thing is a reflection of that. Or, it's more of a Gedi Prime thing; that place was somewhat colorless in Part One, and very dark **shrug**

    I'm refering to Irulan's function in the books (Dune, Dune Messiah, & Children of Dune). She's an epigraph narrator throughout, telling the reader what's going on and offering perspective on stuff. Kinda breaking-the-4th-wall-y.

    @Angelman I read recently that Giedi Prime has monochromatic sunlight (DV staying true to the book) and that is what we're seeing in the trailer. That's the true colorless sun appearance we see in the gladiator shots.

    That's interesting. I can't remember that from the books at all. And I couldn't find it with a quick Google search (although some indicate the b/w might possibly represent flashback scenes). In any case, I'm quite intrigued!
