I thought there were some really cool easter eggs in the movie. One of my favorites was when Finn was going through some junk on the Falcon and came upon Luke's old training remote and throws it aside. What are some of your favorite nods to the originals?

There's loads. I like the fact the Falcon has a completely new antenna that looks different from the original.

    Not a scratch, eh Lando?

I like the fact that the new X-Wings are based on the original McQuarrie designs. I know they aren't much different, but at least the changed them by going back to the original and best artwork.

    Poe's black X-wing looks badass.

I liked when Finn held up the lightsaber training remote in the falcon.

As in the assassin droid? I missed that. I guess I'll have to look for it one of the next 100 times I see it in theaters :)

The stuffed doll in Rey's home on Jakku. In an orange flight-suit.

Is that an egg or something more important? Like the X wing helmet.

I think it shows that she likes the rebellion/resistance.

I definitely need to read the book. There is so much more detail in the book than they can show in the movie.

Gotta love that Rey said the Falcon was a piece of junk prior to getting into it.

Disney is hoping you all like Easter Eggs so much, you keep going back more and more to discover them all.

All I can think of is that if Han were shipping Rancors instead of Bowling Ball Beholders, the entire freighter scene (easily the wonkiest part of the film) could have perhaps been salvaged. :)

I really did like the Rebel pilot doll. That alone shows us that Rey is 1) crafty and resourceful 2) in love with the "myth" of the Rebellion and eager to sympathize with it 3) interested not just in engineering, but piloting. All these thing are reinforced very smartly in the film, but I like that it's all there in that doll. Could be a bigger clue, too, of course.

I also love how the whole "Kylo Ren" character was a cool shout out to a bit character in "Inside Llewyn Davis." ;)

Ya know, what if that doll represents Luke Skyealker...I've said this before but Leia's helmet in her comic book looks similar to Rey's .

Mine was when they are flying away from the TIE fighters on Jakku (Rey and Finn) and she takes the MF inside the salvage star destroyer, she makes a move to get inside like the one Han did when getting into the asteroid in ESB.

I thought that's what they said at first and I was very excited! It was a shame, really. We ended up with a ridiculous fight against giant octopus balls.

So, I happened to notice this: After the scene in witch Han Solo dies, we see Rey wearing the jacket of Poe Dameron (Finn). Afterwards, during the confrontation with Kylo Ren, Finn is wearing the jacket again.

I'm 90% certain I caught Rey wearing this jacket, and would be happy if another snappy viewer could confirm.
