Episodes VII - XII (Idea)

So, basically I have a little theory as to the general story of the what the next two trilogies will be, because of course there will be a fourth trilogy! Obviously this is all very basic and there's a lot of plot left to fill.

Sequel Trilogy (VII-IX)
The Force Awakens:
We all pretty much know (or can guess) what goes on here. Personally, I think that Rey, Finn, Poe, BB-8, Han and Chewie go on an adventure to return Luke's lightsaber to him, however have to deal with the First Order (primarily Phasma and Kylo Ren) along the way and have to escape Starkiller base. Han dies in order to let the new generation escape in the falcon and following this, the group detonate charges on Starkiller base and escape. They return to Yavin (or wherever the Resistance base is), mourn Han and the X-Wing squadron assembles to defend their base as Phasma and the Order have traced their location. Final battle involves Poe Dameron leading the X-Wing squadron (battle on water from the trailer), General Hux dies, Phasma and Ren escape in a star destroyer. Then Ren contacts his master, Snoke and his Sith identity is revealed. Rey returns to her (Uncle) Luke and the movie ends there.

Episode VIII:
Movie opens with a similar battle of the Resistance vs. First Order (similar to Empire) with Kylo Ren seeking out Finn, as he knows he has force abilities. He captures Finn and against the wishes of the Resistance leaders, Poe Dameron leads a search party in the Falcon with the new crew (Chewie, BB-8, Threepio and a stowaway Leia). Meanwhile, Rey is being trained as a Jedi by Luke and sees a vision of Finn being tortured by Ren and the Resistance being destroyed. She goes after them. Upon arrival to the destination, along with Poe and the Falcon Crew, she finds she has been led to the wrong location and they instead meet another villain (rumoured to be played by Benecio Del Toro) who works for the First Order! Plot twist, he reveals this planet is home to an ancient army, the Yuuzhan Vong (just a theory) who are working with the Order. Eventually, Rey escapes their clutches finds Ren (Finn has been taken by Phasma to the location where Snoke is hiding), and we see Leia follow after her in an attempt to save her daughter. In this moment, she reveals Kylo is her son and in fact Rey's brother. Much like Han, Leia sacrifices herself and is killed by Ren, leading Rey to confront him and a lightsaber duel ensues. Rey's anger leads her to cut a limb off Ren, however she hears Luke's voice and is saved in the midst of time by Poe in the Falcon. Upon their escape, the Falcon is destroyed by a Vong ship and the team are captured, sent to execution on a prison-like planet. - Movie ends there.

Episode XI:
Opens on the planet with the group sent to execution. Rey and Poe meet odd creatures also captured by the Order whilst being imprisoned. Finn is being tempted by Snoke in his lair on another planet. They are sent to be executed, Poe dies. When it comes to Rey's turn, Luke appears and saves her. Rey escapes. X-Wings and Resistance rescue ships appear and Rey's new friends help her escape. The Resistance all meet together and plan their final attack against the Order and the Vong, as they have learned of Snoke's location. There are power struggles also happening between Phasma and Del Toro's character, as their armies are now one. Phasma is having withdrawals over his methods, believing he is evil and not fighting for a cause. Phasma is sent to a prison and manages to send a signal to her First Order Troopers, telling them to escape. Eventually a war ensues, with the Resistance fighting the Order/Vong. Also, Rey and Luke attempt to rescue Finn, who is brainwashed and a Sith apprentice, resulting in a final duel between Rey and Luke / Finn and Ren. Finn turns to the lightside and helps Rey finish Ren. Meanwhile, the Resistance find unlikely allies when the Stormtroopers turn on the Vong troopers and help them defeat them. Phasma sacrifices herself to destroy Del Toro's character. Back in the lair, Snoke appears and kills Luke, revealing his true identity and his secret Sith army, with Ren as his apprentice. Rey and Finn escape as the Resistance / Troopers all die in the battle. The trilogy ends with most Resistance, Stormtroopers and Vong dead, with Snoke and his new Sith army in power of the Galaxy. Rey and Finn arrive at an ancient Jedi temple and look off into the Horizon, getting ready to train an army of Jedi.

Post-Sequel Trilogy (X-XII)
Finn and Rey are the Jedi Masters, trilogy is about Jedi v. Sith army.
