SPOILER FAKE! Star Wars - The Force Awakens Workprint Leaked?

Okay. This is interesting. The minute after the OP made the thread I did a broad search and found a torrent for the work print. About 2 minutes later the site where I found the torrent is gone. As in the site I found it at will not come up using the same search parameters that I used when I found it the first time. I was downloading the torrent and got to about 40% when I lost the seed. That's when I went back to the site, and it was gone. Could still be a hoax, but my interest level just went up a bit.

 

Exactly what I was thinking. I would say that if the video gets removed, obviously there was a reason to remove it. And we all know what that reason is. If there really is a work print leaked, why haven't we heard about it other than by some random guy on YouTube? And if, by chance, Disney already came across the workprint and deleted it, why hasn't this guy's video been removed yet? Maybe it's too soon to say, but give it a day... I'm not buying it. Seems like a claim to fame to me.

Leia and Poe using lightsabers? Sidious? This is not real. However if it was you'd probably find it on darknet sits for sale, not on a torrent site for a while

 

So, you downloaded 40% of the entire print in 3 mins? That's a lot of seeders for a torrent no one seems to be able to find and seed.

Plus, even if the site was taken down, you would still be able to continue downloading through a torrent. Smells in here.

He is probably talking about the torrent file itself. If he is downloadin through a magnet link you first need for the torrent file to be sent over, this can take some time.

I see that the first packets were prioritized. If it's a video file you can most likely play it with VLC. If it's not a video file.... Dont open it

And I'm back up and downloading. I love having the computing ability that I have at work. Only running at 20kb/s right now though. Was running at 70mb/s on the first run. :-(

 

Slightly OT but I never understood why Luke heard JEJ's voice in his head at the end of Empire and in that ROTJ deleted scene. Surely Vaders' suits vocalizer doesn't filter his telepathy? It should have been Anakin's voice really.

I could possibly see something like Kylo Ren repairing Vaders old vocalizer and fitting it to his helmet if he wanted to copy Vader. But the rest of those ideas are pure nonsense

I have seen the comments on the youtube video, he was using silly excuses as to why he can not prove it. But he must of deleted the reply.

Everyone keep their fingers crossed. I am up to two seeds now and 40KB/s LOL Only 2:30:00 to go.. It was minutes from my grasp on the first go round.

Also, for legal reasons, I can't share the link I have. Best I can do is give a review. I'm not up to being sued. In all honesty, based on what I know of the internet, it's probably a 2 hour loop of "Rick Roll".
