With season 3 of The Mandalorian now complete, the second volume of the show's soundtrack is set to release digitally on April 21. The album contains 16 music tracks and covers the second half of the season (episodes 21-24) of the hit Disney Plus show.

The first season of The Mandalorian featured composer Ludwig Göransson at the musical helm. Originally known at the time for his work on Black Panther and Creed, and as a record producer for Childish Gambino, Göransson would continue to work as the composer for the show up until season 3. At that point, Joseph Shirley, the main composer behind The Book of Boba Fett, stepped up and covered for Göransson, who is still credited on The Mandalorian season 3 for his extensive work on the show's key musical themes.

The first half of The Mandalorian season 3's soundtrack is also digitally available now. Volume 1 contains 19 music tracks and covers the first four episodes of season 3, episodes 17-20. While season 1 of the show released music albums for every episode, seasons 2 and 3 have switched to releasing albums every four episodes (a model also followed by other Star Wars series).

For more of our thoughts on the latest season of The Mandalorian, you can find our written review of the season finale here. In other related news, it has also been revealed that Kevin Kiner, the musical composer behind several animated Star Wars shows, including The Clone Wars, Rebels, The Bad Batch, and Tales of the Jedi, will be joining Dave Filoni once again for the live-action Ahsoka series, which will debut in August.

All eight episodes of The Mandalorian season 3 are available for streaming now on Disney Plus.

The Last of Us, Uncharted, and the recent God of Wars games are few examples of games made like movies, so video games copied movies not the other way around as I see post commenting on tv series and films similar to video games. I believe films came first. The Last of Us and Uncharted feel like you are in a film playing along so those video games are easily translated. I haven't seen the recent Mario movie, yet many critics say there is no story...

You know, I find it kinda cool how those lines are being blurred. I have never been a gamer of any sort, it's mostly an attention span thing. I played GTA back in the PS2 days, but I never had a chance following the storyline. I'd run around doing the side games and stuff endlessly, but if I got hung on a task to advance, I was done. Anyway, I got an urge to see the Fallen Order story, and thank the maker for YT. I watched a play through and enjoyed it like it was a TV series. I'm looking forward to do the same with Survivor, and would like to check out a few other games that way as well, like Last of Us.
