    It's a bit concerning. I can see them bringing Vader back in some capacity but man, it can go so, so wrong and completely alienate an already anxious fan base. Sure, if TFA is really well done, it could help but I'm just concerned. I would love to see Vader on the screen again (if he isn't in Rogue One that is) but really, I think his time in the main story is done. He rose, he fell, he redeemed, he died.

    People really want Hayden back? I think he is a great actor but anyone can be in the suit unless he is playing hamburger face Vader. Also, he is force ghost, just not needed.

    Gugu Mbatha-Raw seems to be locked for a part (I'd guess that she could be playing Lando's daughter), although they haven't formally announced her involvement. Her character is said to be strongly involved with John Boyega's, meaning that I think she'll be the love interest if Disney thinks that going with a Finn/Rey pairing would be too risky (which wouldn't surprise me, considering the retarded backlash against John for being a black lead).

    There seems to be another female part that they're looking toward; they plan on casting either Gina Rodriguez or Olivia Cooke for the role. (Tatiana Maslany was also in the running for both this and Rogue One, but she had to drop out of both projects due to scheduling conflicts.)

    While John Boyega's return is based entirely on hearsay - though I imagine that it's likely - Mark Hamill and Daisy Ridley are both officially showing up in the movie based on the Skellig Michael Island shoot. I think that they are most likely keeping quiet about this movie and Rogue One because they want all the attention to be on the main attraction.

    I'm interested to see when the official cast announcement gets made. For The Force Awakens we knew most of the cast well before filming began, but that's not likely to happen with Episode 8, since they should be in production before TFA hits theaters. I know Lucasfilm will want to keep a lid on things so that they don't give away who will and won't make it through Episode 7, but in the internet age it's awfully hard to hide everything once filming begins - especially if they have any on-location shooting to do.
