Potential TLJ Tracklist? Who knows but it's been a slow news day...

If this tracklist is real, then I don't think the sacrifice will result in her death. We know that Leia was supposed to have a big role in IX and adding up the fact that TLJ hasn't been changed because of Carrie's passing means that this event won't be fatal.

Maybe Leia will surrender to Snoke voluntarily. You could see this as a sacrifice.

This is what I also understood as the "sacrifice" but instead of Snoke I think it's Kylo.

 

Yes, I also think it's to early for Ben to return. For my part I want Kylo to be dark in the first two acts of TLJ. His redemption should only start in act three and last until the first act of EPIX.

 

Can someone PM me the track list? I'm guessing it's legit, otherwise I could've checked it out already. Thanks.

Almost certainly.

 

Could be, but not necessarily. TFA talking toys had lines which were not in the film and some of them were variations of the actual dialogues.

Yesterday Hasbro released some toy ads (apparently by mistake - they've taken them down) and there was Kylo speaking. Didn't sound like Adam Driver at all to me, but can't tell for sure. To those who missed it, the lines were:

Pretty sure Williams went in and recorded back in the early spring. I was surprised by it because he typically likes to do it closer to the final edit. However, now I'm wondering if maybe it was a composing session and not a recording session...

 

The work on the score was started quite early but except for that it didn't differ that much.

But he's veeery close to finishing it. There are two reasons behind this line of reasoning.

1. The Papers. New Spielberg film is coming out in a limited release a week after Episode VIII, so it means that Williams will start work on the score for that film soon. Composers usually score one film at a time and since the work on The Last Jedi was started earlier, it has to be finished before scoring The Papers begins.
2. TLJ's post-production. Episode VIII is going to be finished very soon, as it was confirmed by an interview between Rian Johnson and Ana Lily Amirpour in this podcast. Since then, also this picture came out
   
   which further confirms that in just a matter of weeks Star Wars: The Last Jedi will be an actual, complete film, which means that its score will be complete, too.

 

If anything in that track was legit and not recorded yet, chances are it's because the track list is just a temp, but it still tells you what to expect.

 

I think Rian said at D23 that they finished (or are about to finish) scoring, but I can't find the interview clip. I believe that's the case, it sounds about right schedule-wise. Maybe they'll go back to record some additional stuff, but I bet it's done for the most part. That said, it's definitely way too early for a legit CD tracklist.

 

Also I have quite a few of the track titles memorized, but in case it was legit, I won't post them publicly. I'm just good at memorizing stuff if anyone wants to know for fun.
