    Yeah....the only way Han Solo can be in this movie is if there is a flashback....he got stabbed through the chest.....fell who knows how much and the planet exploded...he is either immortal or someone saved him at the last second IF he is alive....otherwise if he truly is in the movie it will be a flashback.

    My guess is that the flashback was cut down significantly in order to include Han in another movie, however briefly that may be.

    Kasdan has said VIII will be "weird". I expect more force visions (future and past) which explains how Han is "back". Not by turning the Falcon into the Tardis. ;)

    My guess is that it will be the latter. Ben Solo's turn apparently took place fairly late into the timeskip, meaning that casting younger actors would be jarring to that end (unlike, say, casting a younger Luke for the flashback set in during the OT).

    Johnson, you mean - he's writing it. Kasdan is writing the Han Solo movie and then he says that he'll be done with Star Wars.

    I don't know how weird VIII will be, but it's already weird enough for the simple fact that filming begins days/weeks from now, while VII is still playing in cinemas.

    Has to be weird, has to be darker, has to be twisted! I hope won't be an Episode V's remake but its obvious we are going to see some Jedi/Sith training, besides that, I hope things gets fu--ed up.

    I think they should analyze VII a little bit deeper before start shooting, specially, hearing the feedback of fans.
