So what is happening with the site lately?

How come stuff like this gets posted in the front page? You guys used to check with your own sources or at the very least make sure that the source was somewhat legit, like reporting on something IndieRevolver or MSW posted. But this? For real? You are not even checking the sources that the very International Business Times article is linking to. Not only is it a totally unconfirmed source, it's almost a week old.

And it's also articles like this:

Which were originally titled: "A few more seconds of footage from the highly anticipated rogue one a star wars story hit the net" (You can still see the original title in the URL.) It then obviously proved to be footage from the behind the scenes clip. Like, who is doing the research here?

I hope I'm not coming across too aggressive, I just wanted to point this out because I believe you have to be more careful. It's disappointing to click on an article expecting a scoop and just finding out it's something that is not only old but in case of KMT from a still totally unconfirmed and unreliably source. This did not happen during the Ep7 days with exception of those fake trailer scoops and we all know what happened there. So anyway, those are my 2 cents.

Yes, I've noticed this too. However, I have complete confidence that the writing staff hasn't been degraded or become lazy. I think these stories are made to help compensate for the great lack of news and rumors these past few weeks. With that said, I wish recent rumors floating around the web this week (such as **spoiler** the one about Kelly Marie Trans playing "Aya" an "information broker") will get reported in detail here.

 

I'm sure, once the rumor mill and leaks pick up again, we'll get more and more stories. The normal news media has slow cycles all the time. However, instead of doing the same-old "ZOMG, shark attacks!" routine, it's a little harder with a fan site dedicated to news about a particular franchise when things are quiet.

 

I think that site is a fake for a number of reasons, but mostly because it seems to know too much. However, as far as speculation or wild fan theories goes, it's done well and one of the more reasonable sources out there.

 

Yeah anyone in general who knows THAT much is going to not be entirely true about anything regarding star wars knowing how tight they are .

 

I have a feeling that a new Skywalker is going to lose a hand.
You know, just to keep the trend of a Skywalker losing a hand/arm in the 2nd installment of a trilogy.

 

Firstly welcome to the cantina, secondly that may happen since that his lightsaber wielding hand, if it happened could it be Rey or Kylo to do the deed.

 

It also be a part of his new costume or something like that which will be done in CGI .

 

lol no I meant that I was speculating about how it could maybe be something like a handcuff that displays information or some force related thing to be more specific that would look better digitally

I also makes me feel bad for him since he was first nearly shot to death, then almost killed by Rey, and now his arm could be cut off lol .
