There is a ship that looks like the Tanative from ROTS that is apparently important to the plot. Many speculate that is where C3PO's memories are stored.

Why would they store them if the intention was to wipe them? I think George was very blunt about it. Is there wiggle room? Sure. However, I don't think that was what George was intending when he wrote that. Store and wipe are two different things.

A wipe my computer drive pretty often after I moved my files to an external storage device. Same could be going with C3. I think it would be a cool way to tie into the prequels. Especially if the memory they find is Anakin related.

We have to ask ourselves just why, in-universe, were C3POs memory wiped? (Apart from a clear need to fix continuity issues, of course). We get no explanation, just a random order... Logically, however, there must've been a clear need for this action, and it is hard to see any other reason than C3POs memory containing sensitive info, related to Anakin or something else of high importance. Now, sensitive means valuable and if C3POs memory was so valuable they couldn't risk the droid walking around with it, it follows that part of the memory-wipe action was to save the data for later study. In other words, C3POs memory was probably stored away safely, meaning the data could easily become a plot device in Ep.IX. It is also possible that the value of said data is part of the reason why the Organa family kept C3PO around; perhaps they recognized that they might someday need C3POs unorthodox circuits to access/run the valuable data in the most safe/efficient maner.

The only other scenario that I see for memory-wiping C3PO was if he functioned faultilly and needed a reboot/factory-reset, and there are hardly any indication that that was the case, and if it was, the memory-wipe certainly didn't change C3POs function & demeanor for the OT ;) No, my money is on C3POs memory being valuable and saved for later

Ep.IX is supposed to contain a MacGuffin of increasing importance to the plot, and that MacGuffin device could easily be C3POs stored memories (a device used for R2-D2 in the past). I hope this is the case and that it signals a return to focus for (artoo) & (c-3po) :D ).

Not sure if it’s on another thread but there’s a new fresh rumor going around right now about something called “oracle” that is a spider monster.

Padme was expecting Anakins offspring, and Palpy wants to own the Skywalker twins really, REALLY, bad if he finds out that they hatched before Mom Skywalker went cold. Kenobi, Yoda and Bail Organa have that figured out. They also know that the other ones aware of the kids bloodline are R2-D2 and C-3PO, and that one of them is no Johnny Tight-lips so they are dealing with someone who could rat them out. Well, no snitches allowed on Alderaan, and this is fixed by flushing Goldfingers "brain", leaving 3PO as clueless as he looks.

They said that in EP IX they are going full circle with the story, so it really sounds genuine to have C3PO as one of the key characters in the final movie.

I think that this movie will be pretty emotional when we see some familiar planets or 'old' characters.
I have a really good feeling about this one.

Don't really have any comments on the oracle rumor, but just wanted to say I'm sorry someone gave you a dislike for this. :p

Is it just me or do these arts look rushed? The cool thing is, Kylo is the only one who is on every three ST posters. #MainCharacter

It's just the illustration style. Interesting that they make sure you see that Rey has the saber on her belt.

Rey looks like she has a hood on that outfit and it looks awesome.
Probably was an accident. I hit negative ratings when I am scrolling through on my phone.

    Lol:D

Maybe JJ has recreated a sandstorm like the deleted one from Return of the Jedi, which, by the way, I love it :p

How many of these mural images are there?

I have seen one at celebration which looks effing awful, then I have seen bits floating around which look amazing.

Got to admit I am confused.

I have seen this floating around

Where's the image we can see of Kylo and Rey's foot. And look no floating lightsaber? Is the one at Celebration not finished?

I do notice the red lines in Kylo's helmet. This either confirms the leak about the it or its fan made based off the info.

It is obvious that Organa wanted to protect Leia who was now his daughter, and also Luke. In Ahsoka, he wouldn't even tell Ahsoka who she was, and felt her out as to what she knew about the relationship. He also mentioned he meant to do the same to R2 who was also in the novel, but didn't. R2 being protective, or a great tool? The Force? It could have been sentiment, as Threepio had been working with Padme his friend when he knew her, and in the novelization of ROTS he mentions something about wanting the droids for his daughter. In the end though,
it's Organa who reveals to the galaxy the identity of Darth Vader, through a recording some decades later.
