    Star Wars opened 38 years ago today! As a matter of fact, I was inside the Avco Theater in Westwood, watching it RIGHT NOW 38 years ago today!

    I hope all of you are celebrating today!

    For those of you who actually were AROUND in 1977, consider this dismaying fact! Star Wars is now as old as both Gone With The Wind and The Wizard of Oz were on the day Star Wars opened! Yikes!

    Hey, now that it's May 26th, we are just two years away from the release of Episode 8 which will hit the day after Star Wars 40th birthday but, because they always preview movies now the night before, will be viewable ON Star Wars 40th birthday! And what a nice way to celebrate!
