    The Black series is a newish series of Star Wars figures that is 6" versus the standard 3 3/4" series. There haven't been too many produced yet and the series encompasses mostly OT figures thus far.

    This is a HUGE release for Star Wars toy merchandise. Much bigger than the PT -- they didn't have the Black series then, limited Micro Machines if at all and mashers (whatever those are). This is one reason why I have projected that Disney will make back it's 4.05 billion with this one movie. 3 Billion alone in world box office and then another billion easy in merchandising. Hasbro toys -- see above -- cereal and food tie-ins, restaurant tie-in (Burger King or Mcdonald's) and whatever else they can possibly slap a TFA logo on. 4.05 billion easy. Disney will be printing money with Star Wars for now on.

    It's probably just a reissue. Even if the mask didn't appear in the film at all (burnt or not) they would most likely still produce it. In the 16 years between the OT and PT they were putting out tons of Vader stuff.

    These are most likely Kylo's gear though. Just pop the name in and vuala! Thatt's probably the case.

    What I like is the (seeming) confirmation that our villain has enough clout or at least prominence to have a "flagship". I'm curious as to whether or not it has anything to do with the new TIE concept we saw.

    pretty cool stuff! you know, before hitting up this site i had never thought about how revealing the toy industry can be in regards to upcoming movies! whoda thunk?

    snow desert? i can only imagine it's the same costume, maybe a sort of standard extreme weather set, ideal for any crappy place you end up!

    hero vehicle made me think Millennium Falcon, but now i'm thinking, wouldn't that be a hero starship? hmmm...

    micro machine villain flagship? that's pretty neat! could just be an updated Star Destroyer; or maybe some new cool, evil looking thing belonging to Kylo Ren.

    remote control droid sounds cool, but how will they make BB-8's for every household in America?? could just be R2... :confused:

    lightsabers!! (lightsaber) signature = good guy, villain = bad guy?

    blasters! (droideka) only villain and alien? no good guy blasters? also, what alien??

    villain mask and Vader mask! i bet the Vader mask is just a product they're throwing into the mix to sell toys. i could be wrong, but i doubt this plays into the movie at all. that being said, it would be neat if they sold the burnt out Vader helmet!

    with all that info in my brain case, i think it'd be cool if the alien blasters belong to whatever group Kylo Ren is leading in his spiffy flagship, blasting through snow and desert worlds alike!

    Don't forget her Freedent plen T pak too. I'm one of the people who would have just left Sebastian Shaw at the end of ROTJ. The unpainted blue-green force ghost looks awesome to me too.

    I'm interested to see how the Force FX Kylo saber turns out.

    Possibly like this even though I hope they do like a molded plastic tube that looks rough instead of just smooth cylinders.
