How I think Han Solo Will Appear in Episode 8

Sort of like A Will ?

 

Maz Kanata saved Han Solo after the fall . Badly wounded but alive , they escape in a Tie Fighter. They are seen escaping in the Tie Fighter , but it was too late for those who were still at the Starkiller base. Even the General Hux was gone .....

Kind of a will/goodbye message. For example:

-Leia-He tells her that he loves her and apologizes for not being a "better husband" and for "failing to save our son."

-Chewie-He wishes Chewie good luck,and tells him to watch over Leia. He also gives Chewie the MF, but suggests that he allow Rey to continue piloting it because "she's pretty good, plus I think that she kind of likes you."

-He also asks Leia and Chewie to, if they see Lando, say goodbye to him on Han's behalf.

-Rey-He wishes her good luck and says that he would have been proud to have her as part of his crew.

-Luke-He tells Luke that there were never any hard feelings, that he never blamed Luke for Ben's fall, and that one of his biggest regrets was that he and Luke never got to see each other again before it was too late.

 

Please explain why Chewie and Leia ignore each other then ?

 

Any thoughts on how a hallucination will differ from a force ghost?

 

Force ghost: ant force user can typically see one .

Hallucination: it's all in your head .

Meta: what if this is all in your head .

Right, but they can't LOOK the same on screen, it'll be too confusing. Also, define "meta" please. I don't get it

 

Basically, Han would look like his normal self but only to Kylo seen and no one else can see it.
"META" means larger than life .

 

Yeah, it wouldn't be all that hard to show that it was all in Kylo's head, he's already kind of "unstable."

 

Like Batman: Arkham Knight? That would be hilarious.

I actually really like this idea. Particularly the way in which Han and Luke basically get to interact with each other, through Luke seeing Han's final recorded message.

Han Solo and Max Von are not in this movie. I don't understand why people took what Kathleen said so literally. The fans are way off on this, Zero chance Han is in this even as a flashback, Zero.

No I did not and he'd probably answer with a non-answer, anyways .

 

I could see Kylo having nightmares of his father being kind to him and forgiving him. It would continue this inverse journey that Kylo is taking. Forgiveness is a nightmare.

 

There will be a pre-recorded hologram. Han will say"If you're seeing this I'm dead. To Chewie I leave my collection of nerf herders. Leia I leave you my smugglers handbook. Luke I leave you my blaster. It holds a map to my actual where abouts. I will leave part of it inside R2. Thanks buddy, I owe you one. To Ben, my son I leave you all my debts to pay. Thanks, son. You're the best, pal."

 

I really like this idea! Reminds me a little of Uncle Ben being in Peter Parker's dreams. A kind of Obi-Wan mentor relationship after death, only Han can't be a Force ghost. Would also leave room for the question of whether the Han in Ben's nightmares is really him, or just what Ben imagines he'd tell him. The "forgiveness is scary" idea could be very powerful.

 

That's a good theory. Would also play nicely into his mirroring of Anakin with the dreams.

 

I think it's highly likely Kylo Ren (Ben Solo), will have flashback, hallucinations and be haunted by Han, especially as he put his hand on his face and then fell. But what if Rey asks Luke about Han? He could have a flashback of him leaving the decade before, or a meeting between Han, Lor San Tekka, Leia, and him. Could be interesting. Or Han and Leia arrive to see Luke place his hand on R2-D2 and leave forever.

 

Killing Han clearly did NOT bring Ben the "peace of mind/inner-strength" that he was hoping it would. Adam Driver really sells it during the forest scene, Ben is cracking mentally/emotionally even more (and the novelization makes this even more explicit through dialogue). And, despite this being this "great test" according to Snoke that he "passed," he still lost to a mere "scavenger" in the end. So yeah, I can totally seeing him being effected by it psychologically/emotionally in Episode VIII. He was already unstable to begin with after all.
