Star Wars; The Force Awakens will have all the plots/characters/scenes/secrets/spoilers/shockers/etc fully leaked weeks before it's release.
There's no way this film will last until 12/18/2015 without major leaks or illegal downloads.

The demand & interest is too strong. Fans & "pirates" will boot-leg TFA weeks before 12/18/2015.
Disney, Bad Robot & ILM can't stop all of it.

Between the interest level and the technology available today it is really futile to try to lock down everything. The only effective counter really would be a modest but sustained disinformation campaign. Such a campaign would work even if it really didn't as it would introduce a welcome amount of doubt on otherwise legit leaks.

I think the only thing we really know is... what actors are in the film. And the name of the film. Oh and surprise! The Falcon and X-Wings. Everything else is conjecture, assumption and lies. The film hasn't been edited. The SFX are not complete. I wouldn't be surprised if they filmed scenes they have no intention of using.

    I 100% disagree.
In 2014, major studios are not going to dump $$$ or waste time on scenes they don't need or have no plan to use.
Editing is one thing but why would you spend time or $$$ on stuff your not using?
I've worked both as talent & as production on a few film/TV projects.
100s of people stand around for about 10-15 min of work per hour for 10/12/15 hours for 5/6/7/8 weeks.
I've yet to work on a feature where a dir or producer said: "hey, we may not bother with this scene but let's spend the next 6 hours or 3 days making it".
Weather, safety & time(daylight-night time) are all factors.

Normaly there are 2 teasers so they cant leak one out controled and impress with a better second one after that. Both being official.
But I think that the trailer wont leak.

I'm not even sure we know completely what actors are in the film. We know most of them but there has been a lot of speculation that there may be one or more surprises in that area.

This really just occurred to me in the last couple days. With all the focus we've put on Ridley, Boyega, and Driver - plus the OT actors and the other hyped up new ones (Gleeson, Isaac, Nyong'o, Christie, Lourd) - I for one have completely lost focus on anyone else that has been confirmed or could be in the film.

I think that this is a controlled leak.
    Because:
The Falcon is officially reveald, it would be just a logical thing to "leak" smth that we already know.
So we pretty much see nothing new. And that is why I think that this is a controlled leak to well, giff us what we want.
    Very very good BadRobot. :-D

    It's fake.

    1. Star field is crap.
    2. Lighting is crap.
    3. Lense flares are added to make us think "oh yeah, thats JJ!"
    4. There is no motion blur.
    5. The falcon's textures and overall quality arent up to snuff.

The GIF has 48 Frames. So idk if this is normal. I think 24 frames per second. So it seems to be on point for me. :-D

Directors never film options? They take multiple takes of scenes. Most of the "leaks" we've seen are based on conept art. Very little sounds like anyone on set actually knows what's going on. Nothing earth shattering about any scenes actually filmed. The good stuff is filmed on closed soundstages with limited access. C'mon we haven't even heard what DG's part is, or what Leia is doing in this movie. Two major characters. NADA. Yet we act like we know there's a "Grave Robber" and that Luke is or is acting nutso and that he kills Han.

C'mon. We know so very little.
