How would you react if the opening scene for TFA is changed?

    This is probably not going to happen at all, but, being that Lucasfilm is now under new ownership and whatnot, lets entertain the thought for a moment. How would you react if you go into the movie theater to watch Star Wars: The Force Awakens for the first time and the opening scene was significantly changed in the following ways?

    Two scenarios:

    1 - The opening scene is changed where it appears to be a more traditional opening credits scene (i.e.names of main actors are shown in the beginning of the movie). The intro music score stays the same (the Star Wars main theme song) but there is no more opening crawl words describing the beginning of the movie.

    2 - Both the opening scene and the intro music score are significantly changed with the opening scene being like how I described above and the intro music score is something different other than Star Wars main theme song.

    I seriously doubt that scenario 2 would happen at all but yeah, your thoughts on this conundrum if something about the opening scene were changed on the new Star Wars films coming out starting with TFA (outside of the anthologies)?

    I seriously doubt either of those things will happen. Worst case scenario... there is no opening crawl, or it is placed after an opening scene that gets the plot in motion.

    Would be really stupid if they would change it. It must be in line with the rest of the movies.

    They have already confirmed "Episode VII" would be in the opening crawl so... the opening crawl will be there.

    Only possible movies they would do this for are the stand-alone/spinoffs.

    Won't happen. The one thing that will happen is there will be a Disney logo. Possibly the Castle. Changing the way it opens in any other way would be a huge mistake and Disney knows this. People keep bringing up these major changes that Disney will make. You have to understand that the people at Disney are very smart and they understand their audience. They will not make changes that will hurt a franchise as iconic as Starwars.

    It will start with the Lucas Film logo and that new fanfair that was used in the HD releases.
