Ok, I want to discuss the content level that all future Star Wars movies and animations need.

Now before we begin, in my opinion, that is in TLJ trailers it seems that there will be plenty of violence in the movie, which isn’t good.

What TLJ and everything else needs:

    1. Violence.

    We need stuff like:

    F21DA7E0-2E81-445A-A71F-28F2F526A244.gif

    7A995D7D-6407-4D07-972C-78730E03C733.jpeg
    E64F4430-619C-4F00-930F-F52DF7F3AAFC.jpeg

And even more violence than that would be appreciated! Kids like myself like this stuff nowadays, so.

    2. We need more “Hello There”. Please I’m begging you.

What TLJ and everything else DOES NOT NEED!

    1. Cussing. For those selfish lurkers out there who hate me for saying this, Star Wars is for all ages! Keep it clean! You don’t like it? Well, too bad!

    2. No sexual content. You guys know me, I’m all in for romance in Star Wars, but please, no explicit stuff...

    3. This weird pacifist stuff. We don’t like it in Rebels and we don’t want it in the movies. I hope they don’t add this to future films. C’mon Ezra, KILL SOME TROOPERS FOR ONCE! Enough of that blaster-slashing stuff. We want something juicy. Like this:

    Any questions, comments, opinions, etc.?

Star Wars fans need a really well written, character-driven, long form story-telling Netflix series made the way Marvel does the Defenders series, DD, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, etc. I'd love some thoughtful stories about any characters. I'd like the target audience to be the people that saw the original trilogy in theaters and drive-ins, and whose childhoods were defined by Star Wars. Give us a few familiar names, places, ideas, lore, etc. I'd love a series about Bounty Hunters/Smugglers. I'd love to see a Knights of the Old Republic done this way.

Violence doesn't make a film good. It's how you use and show it. What's special about violence if it feels forced and overused? Saw is the perfect example for this. The first movie was exceptional. The sequels not that much because they focused too much on violence and gore.
Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against some use of violence as long as it fits with the story. That Yoda scene for example is something I didn't need to see because it didn't fit with Yoda's character.

You can show violence without actually showing it. Hinting at it is the big trick. This is much more intriguing because this encourages your mind to think about it.
Star Wars isn't about violence though. Furthermore Star Wars is a franchise which can be and should be enjoyed by everyone. It's a fairy tale after all. Not everyone likes violence.

I agree with that. No cussing.

I don't know what you understand by sexual content exactly.

Rebels main target audience are kids, thus is shouldn't be brutal. Btw it's not the violence which made the Vader scene great.

Star Wars, much like Wu Tang, is for the children.
