If you could make a new SW movie...

Yeah, the first bit indeed... the last bit trailed too close to Han/Leia story...haha

 

I've always thought that Coruscant would be a good place to explore for a movie, with all the losers and boozers on the bottom levels to the rich bosses and corrupt and crooked politicians at the top. maybe it could have a bit of a 'bladerunner' look to it. or they could do an 'escape from new york' type of plot, where someone from the upper levels ends up trapped down below and they have to send in all the stormtroopers... whats that roman legion movie, when the legion goes up to scotland and gets wiped out? maybe the stormtroopers can run into trouble when they go down below.

 

Maybe a fantasy epic in the vein of LOTR, with a main character who isn't a warrior but more of an adventurer, who has a spiritual quest that takes him deep into the realms of the force and would intersect with Morris-esque beings and locations.

 

Something new about the Force and the Jedi. Anything. There's so little Force-centric content in the new canon (TLJ, Rebels, The Legends of Luke Skywalker... and that's about it?) and I want MORE! The Force is my favourite aspect of the Star Wars lore and while I'm fine with other stuff, it's the at the heart of the saga and I hope new fims (preferably RJ's trilogy) will sink their teeth into the spirutal and the esotheric.

 

Right! I just don't get why they seem to be trying to get away from the Force in the nu-cannon. It makes no bloody sense to me. I didn't buy the Solo novelization simply because while I enjoyed the film, no Jedi and no force just made me feel like the film was enough. I didn't want to read the book. Same for the stuff that is set in the "resistance" era. I'm just not that intrigued as we aren't seeing Luke rebuild the Jedi order, etc...

For me, Star Wars IS the Jedi vs. the Sith. So if I were making a film, it would be Jedi/Sith. I'd do it in the years when the Sith were strong. Very much a war film. Maybe do something with the "Jedi Crusades." We saw a minor reference to that in the Last Jedi book by Hidalgo and that intrigued me. I think that would be something people would like and I know I would like it so yeah, that's probably what I would film.

 

I feel like that would ruin the mystery of how strange these droids are though. Nevertheless still interesting.

 

Darth Bane origin story, that explores his forming of The Rule Of Two and his relationship with Zannah.
