    Given the location of the tease, one would draw the logical conclusion that they are saying some form of Star Wars trailer will be involved... a Nov 5 release date will be one year, one month and ten days prior, but it is not unheard of for a teaser to be a year in advance

    Why only in 70mm I wonder... it is no secret JJ has been using this format

    It would be a lot to hope for... and it would be sad if this was no more than a campaign to ride on the Star Wars coat tails to promote a rush...

    Interstellar is a Paramount release, which of course has nothing to do with Disney, but Paramount is very vested in JJ's success with Star Trek. It would be crafty to hype Star Wars, and its success, giving credit to JJ, and thereby hyping a future Star Trek release.

    Not for nothing, though, the trailer for Ep III was released on November 5, 2004, and over half the footage (roughly) was Alec Guinness from Ep IV.

    There are, of course, other possibilities. While it is, of course, our hope that there will be a trailer for Ep VII, we could be treated to another JJ spoiler, like the Falcon/Batman crossover (and has anything happened on THAT front lately, or has JJ trumped this beyond the ability for retort?) or even something about Rebels... or it could be nothing at all...

    Only time will tell...

    Yes, I remember that comment. It sounded really interesting but when I checked the IP of the poster it was the same as some other comments on the same article. This guy has used several different names which makes me to believe that he's a fraud.

    I don't think it's too early. Abrams did a very early teaser for the first Star Trek movie with not showing much. So everything is possible. I'm sure people will appreciate even only the title with some John Williams music.

    Excellent post!

    The only thing I could add is that Paramount probably doesn't care any longer about JJ's success since he left Star Trek -- Trek is being directed by Roberto Orci, so I can't really say that they would "care" about JJ. However, riding the coattails of Star Wars hype is a super-smart tactic. Not sure Disney would allow it before a Paramount picture though.

    All that said, I can't wait to see a completely informationless piece of hyper-hype trailer -- JW's music with old clips from the first 6 movies and a simple title that says "Episode VII - December 8th, 2015" would send chills even though it's nothing a fan couldn't make (no new footage) and I would still go to the movies just to see it. LOL :)

    Putting my money on the next Hobbit film in December. I hope it is something better than the Star Trek teaser he released in 2007. That being said, something along the Star Trek Into Darkness teaser would be awesome. Or if it was a throwback to the first Empire strikes Back teaser where all they did was show a montage of concept art and stills over the Imperial March
