    Few new shots...TFA International Trailer gave us more. But nice to see Threepio. And Rey looks hot.

    They are sure keeping a tight lid on this film. Also, I really like that shot of BB-8's head detatching from his... body? in sheer horror.

    I'm kinda glad there's no "Kylo holding his lightsaber at Rey's throat" moment in this international trailer. We still got a few new shots, especially in the middle action sequence mash-up. All in all, not disappointed.

    For some weid reasons... watching it for the first time I've got the impression that Kylo's scene
    with the lightsaber and the fire behind him is set.... inside the Supremacy.
    And I'm starting to think, that the hand scene may be set there too.

    You know they're trying to keep TLJ secret...this trailer had very little in terms of new stuff. I think TFA and maybe RO internationals had a lot of new stuff compared to the US trailers.

    I like how careful they are with the spoilers. During TFA marketing campaign you didn't have to be into leaks to piece the structure of the movie with all the trailers and TV spots they released. I guess they'll give us a few more TV spots, but it would be nice if they exercised the same restraint.

    I was in the same boat, and planned to skip this trailer. Seeing everyone’s reactions, well...there are literally only about 5 new shots in the thing.

    You’re not really missing out if you don’t watch it, and you’re not spoiling anything for yourself if you saw the English trailer.

    Thank goodness there’s not much new. TFA’s international trailer had a lot, even a number of shots that didn’t end up in the film if I recall correctly.

    Really?

    I personally found a number of the cuts extremely jarring compared to the other trailer, and that’s just visually. Musically, this trailer, in my opinion, is a bit of a mess (i.e. how the melody kicks in much sooner than in the English trailer, or how it fails to blend with Rey’s training cuts with the lightsaber).

    If the first trailer was a 10 (which, for me at least, it would be) out of 10, I’d be hard-pressed to give this anything more than a 7.

    But, at the very least, this is great in that it emphasises the difference between the Asian and Western cinematic markets.

    Funny. I liked this one better than the "official" one we got a couple weeks ago. It feels like the narrative is clearer, and like there are fewer attempts at misdirection.
