    Is attending the Force Friday MIDNIGHT event at (target, walmart, toys r us) really necessary? Can I not just go to any of these stores the following morning and purchase the exact same items? I just think having a 'midnight' release of merchandise a bit much.
    Any Cantina members attending Force Friday at midnight? Or just going the following day? Personally I just want the black series figures of Kylo Ren, Finn, Rey etc. I'm not a collector but the constant advertising is getting to me.

    The Disney Store by me is doing a 6am event rather than a midnight event. I might go check it out, but haven't decided for sure.

    I checked the Disney store at my location and they are giving Star Wars Pins to the first 100 customers... i'm not standing in line at 6am for a pin... totally not worth it. They should offer exclusive merchandise that would make people want to come at midnight. I'll probably just go the next day

    Depends if you want to grab all the merchandise before everyone else, to be honest it does seem pointless as I would assume the retailers would hold back stock so the can sell stuff through out the day regardless

    Yeah. Depends on how important to you it is that you get certain things. By the next day they might be sold out of what you want.

    I'm not a merch kind of guy, and I don't have kids. So no Force Friday, Saturday, or any day for me.

    I'll be at my in-laws cabin which is located in a rural area of the UP Michigan on Force Friday so I'll have to see what's available the next week after I get back. I really want a 6 inch Black Series Stormtrooper and Hotweheels diecast First Order Tie Fighter and Poe's X-Wing. Good luck to you guys that get out on Force Friday, hope you get what you're hunting for.

    I will visit both a TRU and a Walmart, which are basically across from each other, at midnight. I will then make a 5 hr drive to Vegas later that day, but that's not going to stop me from checking out the merchandise with fellow fans....this doesn't happen often, why not make it an event ! :D;)
    I will buy 6" Black Series figs for sure...anything else is just a bonus really.

    If there was some kind of really cool exclusive that might be different. But so far I haven't seen anything that I NEED to have. Certainly nothing worth waiting in line for late at night.

    Even though I likely won't be able to buy anything good (first new SW movie merch release where I won't be able to get something unless it is really cheap :( ), I might still check it out at midnight. Though I might just watch the official opening vids instead.

    EDIT. Just realized the unboxing event will end before midnight, so I will be able to do both!

    I really want to go at midnight to buy black series Kylo and and stormtrooper. But I am going to hold out until I hear kylo speak in a trailer. Kinda feel like Disney is suckering us to buy a product we don't know much about.

    I find your lack of faith......DISneyTURBING !!!! ;) I feel what ever voice Kylo does have, will be more menacing...than a battle droid's. :D So buy the damn 6" Kylo on blind faith will ya !!!! :p

    It's hard to imagine that much of anything released on Friday will be hard to find. Still, I like the idea of attending the event - though in all likelihood I will be asleep by 11.

    I did the midnight Toys R Us for The Phantom Menace. I bought so many toys and the movie hadn't come out and I didn't know how cool or not cool the characters were. I can't imagine the same scenario here with TFA but I don't think I'll be taking any chances this time. Besides nothing looks high quality enough for my tastes these days and I'm not really a toy collector anymore anyway. But man I was bummed I had all those TPM toys after I saw the movie.... Haha

    No, i don't want to be "burned out" on star wars before i see the trailer. Disney doen't want fans oversaturated by stars wars, so if it is between stuff and the trailer, i choose the trailer
