I have long suspected that Omega might be a chimera. I believe the latest episode makes that even more likely.

I think that Omega has a mosaic of her “sister”’s DNA and Jango Fett’s. I don’t currently have a theory about who would do this or why.

    What do you think?

Do you mean by the Real World definition, or is there some sort of SW Legends thing?

Scientifically, that just refers to a hybrid, right? So yeah, I guess she could be that. It would make more sense with her being female, and blonde. It would make sense that the Kaminoans would try to experiment and produce an improved clone outside of the Republic's knowledge. But, that would mean that either Boba was a hybrid as well, or they lied about Boba and Omega being twins.

A human chimera has two different sets of DNA distributed throughout their body. It’s sort of like “fraternal twins that didn’t separate.” It happens for real, and I think it’s what Omega is too (although she was probably genetically engineered). With two different sets of DNA, she is a twin of her sister and of Jango.

    Yeah, I did some googling...
Pretty intricate stuff, probably way too much to explain in detail, but I do think that there may be something different with her and/or Emerie. I would just assume they were created to be female for some weird breeding capacity, although that in itself may be a bit too far for explaining within SW. Maybe their being female was a "defect" although after typing that, it just feels wrong. Who knows? Interesting thought, though... I'd say that the Kaminoans were definitely tinkering with the Jango clones and probably did most of it without the authority or knowledge of the Republic.
