The Bad Batch Season 2 Will Dive Deep Into Omegas Origins; Character Posters Revealed

The Bad Batch is coming back in just a couple of days with its two-episode season 2 premiere, and after a few months of waiting, Lucasfilm has finally started to promote it. After revealing six character posters in the last days of 2022, some of the people involved in the making of the series have teased what we should expect from the new season.



Speaking to SFX Magazine (via Games Radar), supervising director Brad Rau said the following about the relationship between the Bad Batch and Omega:

Head writer Jennifer Corbett teased that there's more to learn about Omega's origins:

In fact, during the final moments of season 1, we saw Nala Se meet an Imperial scientist wearing the same uniform as The Mandalorian's Dr. Pershing, which, according to Rau, was no coincidence:

Omega was confirmed in season 1 to be essentially Boba Fett's sister, though Corbett did say that the new season will not be exploring that relationship, and viewers should not expect Boba Fett to make an appearance:

The first two episodes will give us a sense of what we can expect from the new, 16-episode season. They will come out on Wednesday, January 4, but while we wait, check out the six character posters that were revealed last week:
