Maybe Shmi had two sons. One she never knew existed as was taken and hidden from her at birth. It is plausible!

Snoke Skywalker. Dun dun duuuun. lol

Well, maybe a little too far-fetched?I think this would anger many fans, and Lucasfilm is actively trying to "play it safe" in order to avoid a similar reception to the PT.Also,we don't really have a valid reason to consider Snoke an ultra-powerful being other than the fact that he is followed by the First Order and the Knights of Ren.He could be very powerful, but maybe not Skywalker-line powerful.

The more and more I see the movie, I think that Snoke is the boy from the Mortis Arc.

The only thing discouraging me from considering this is I do not think the writers would connect anything major(like Snoke) with the Clone Wars series. At least as far as the main episodes go,as is evidenced by Rogue One...

Why not ? The boy and the girl were the most powerful force user we ever saw in the whole Star Wars universe.

Snoke could have seduced Solo by taking the appareance of Vader, he did that for Anakin.
He saw the rise and fall of the Empire. He's pure evil, pure dark force user.

Actually it was their father and Anakin that was most powerful.

I thought my post was clear enough, but anyway:rolleyes:...I don't disagree with the theory,I only believe that the writers themselves would purposefuly avoid linking Star Wars major episodes with TCW.That is because more casual fans would be confused since they would probably not be familiar with the series and specifically the Mortis arc. With that being said,I would not mind being wrong,I could get behind the Snoke=Son theory...

    Something of the kind,yes...
However, the Son intended to use Anakin to get back to the material universe anyway,so him surviving and finding a different way out is neither implausible nor improbable.

No, but Snoke is an Angel.

I'm not kidding, either. I actually think that this is what they'll end up doing.

Snoke seems to have the same scar on his head as Vader in Episode VI. Is Snoke a Force ghost of Vader? In Episode IV, Obi-Wan Kenobi spoke to Luke of Vader being a different person than Anakin Skywalker. Perhaps Kenobi was being truthful when he said that, and perhaps when Anakin became a Force ghost in Episode VI, his alter ego became a Force ghost, too—a dark side of the Force ghost. Or perhaps the man behind the curtain of the great and powerful Snoke is actually none other than Jar Jar Binks, à la The Wizard of Oz.
