Is Snoke Hiding in secret base on Jakku?

How does that seem plausible? If anything Snoke is still beyond the outer rim for me. .

 

If so, then it must have been so frustrating for Snoke when he found out the information of Luke's whereabouts were so close. They were under his nose. Yet the resistance was able to get the information before him.

 

Yeah if he's all-powerful then he would have sensed it on the planet especially because The Force Church is there .

There used to be an old Imperial Research Base on Jakku and if Snoke knew as much as he says, I don't see why not.

I think that the original poster was referring to that research base. It does not make much sense to have Snoke on Jakku. After Finn and Poe escape from the Finalizer and the Force Order is unable to catch Finn and Rey when they escape from Jakku on the Millennium Falcon, Hux and Kylo Ren go back to Star Killer Base to talk to Snoke. It would have been easier for Kylo Ren and Hux to just go down to the planet.

Unless Snoke is hiding his true identity from his own highest ranking officers ...

 

I just said, "I don't see why not." haven't really put much actual thought into why he'd be there or not, just thought it was a fun idea.

That's what I thought was mentioned from other peeps before. Some sort of mobile command center/ship.

 

i don't know if he's hiding his identity, but there is the question of whether he's hiding his location. we don't know if any of these people have ever been in the same physical location with Snoke. given that he's vulnerable, it makes sense he might keep others at a distance.

 

I do not think that Snoke is hiding from his subordinates. Hux and Kylo Ren appear to be aware where Snoke is. At the end of the movie, Snoke tells Hux to bring Kylo Ren to him. Hux does not look surprised or does not ask Snoke where he is, which would be the case if Snoke would be hiding.

From watching the movie, it seems to me that both Hux and Kylo Ren have met Snoke in person. He might not be the person who he says he is, but I do not think that he looks differently in person. He is probably not as tall as the hologram suggests, but he is not a different species.

Snoke is, presumably everywhere (or has the capacity to holo to anywhere). so when he tells Hux to go fetch Ren, it could just mean go fetch Ren and don't show me your face until you have him.

 

In most cases, when people say "bring him to me" , they mean "bring the person to my location". If Snoke had only wanted to talk (via hologram) to Kylo Ren at the end of the movie, Snoke could have told Hux to get Kylo Ren, because he wanted to talk to Kylo Ren ("Get Kylo Ren. I want to talk to him."). Similarly, Snoke could have said that he wanted to see Rey, if he had only wanted to know how Rey looked ("Get the girl. I want to know how she looks.").

 

Maybe he's even paranoid which is why he keeps himself at a distance until the end of TFA .

 

totally. the line is, however: "leave the base at once and come to me with Kylo Ren. it is time to complete his training."

seems like "come to me" could be interpreted variously. just as "bring her to me" likely meant bring her to the holochamber (or not?).

possibly. if he's physically vulnerable, he might keep everybody at a distance. we just don't know yet what his relationship to Ren or Hux is like at this point.

 

I would assume he would be Ren's master of someone who is manipulating Ren into thinking that Snoke is his equal or something or maybe even training him to take over his role as The Supreme Leader one day
