Her remarks are vague & ambiguous at best;.

Don't get all twisted up over it. It's just fluff and PR.

KK didn't hint at anything. The interviewer is the one who hinted by asking a leading question:

Us: As we know, twins tend to run in families. Fans are speculating that Rey and Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) could be twins. Do twins tend to run in the Skywalker family?

I mean, really. How else was KK supposed to answer this question? What other answer could she possibly give that wouldn't give away any of the plot? If she answers with a definite yes, then KK would be confirming Rey and Kylo's sibling relationship. If she says a definite no, then she's confirming that Rey and Kylo cannot possibly be twins. So KK has no choice but to answer with some version of maybe.

She didn't hint at dookie squat.

I don't think they are twins, KK's answer can be anything same as all other marketing campaign.

It's almost (keyword almost) fact that they are not because Kylo is full-grown during the flashback sequence indicating that he has at least 10 years on Rey.

Between that and Lucas's question that he posed to JJ...and other thematic overtones....odds are they are twins.

Lets hope you are correct on the KK, MA, and SK on the writing as i am not a fan of JJ PERIOD! Many know that when it comes to my posts, i am rather critical of his style of doing anything as it relates to what he does and his disaster that is Startrek.

On that note and the thread topic, i found the interview nothing special and a waste to be honest.

If you cast a very young looking 30 year old maybe. Like the 30 year old Leonardo Dicaprio would've been able to play a 20 year old easily and pull it off just fine.

Adam Driver.. No. Sorry but if the film tries to tell me that he and Daisy Ridley are twins, I'm checking the hell out.

To many parallels of the same are coming down as it seems, again telling the same story.

He looks very different from Daisy to be her brother in movie, in my opinion.

I really can't see Disney trying to sell us on Adam and Daisy being twins... they look like they are at least five years apart.

Though I think J.J. is a fine modern action director, his Star Trek franchise lacks depth.. He changed it to fit his and Lindelof's action-movie mentality and alienated many of the older Star Trek fans.. though it only became really obvious with Star Trek: Into Darkness (a movie I really enjoyed as a casual movie-goer, but felt a little cold to me as a Star Trek fan)

Has he (and the rest of the people involved) truly respected George Lucas' vision for the prequels? Because those movies need to be respected, they should work to enhance our enjoyment of the prequels by tying some things into them.. instead of acting like they don't exist.

Easter eggs in the form of flags are not enough.

We still have X-Wings and Ties shooting at each other all this time later, stormtroopers and so on are still running around.. and I would forgive all of this if it wasn't for a THIRD DEATH STAR

They saved that for the poster, they charmed us with everything else and then BAM! There you go everyone a third Death Star. We're gonna remake A New Hope, deal with it.

I've said before that i'll enjoy the movie, it may be the most entertaining blockbuster of all time.. I am excited.

But if it doesn't feel like it gels into what Lucas did with the first six movies.. if it doesn't move the plot of the entire saga forward at the same pace and just harkens back to things we've seen before? (More than likely) then I may not view this trilogy as canon. I'll still watch and enjoy it, but the essence of Star Wars must be respected. The vision of LUCAS must be respected.

From a Star Wars fan's perspective, I disagree with Han just being an old version of who he was.. still flying the Falcon around with the same clothes. It turns him into a cartoon character. But from a moviegoer's perspective, that excites me. This is exactly what happened with Star Trek, the story was manufactured to have cool moments and action scenes.. but insulted the fans who wanted to see more depth and exploration.

Anyway, thats my opinion.. most of you will disagree with me and accept all of this gladly into your hearts. I possibly might too.. but as always i'll be honest about how I feel, I will point out flaws and show praise where its due. If anyone is offended by that then that's their problem. I know we're in the culture of "I AM THE CENTRE OF THE UNIVERSE AND IF YOU DISAGREE WITH ME THEN YOU ARE AN INFADEL" but agree to disagree with me, be reasonable. Don't join the legion of childish people out there who hate anyone who doesn't enjoy what they enjoy; its ruining movie and music culture.

Lets discuss the thing we all love and not start personal attacks.

I like the visual style of the film overall, the first act looks like it will have a decent pace.. as a popcorn movie it looks like the best thing ever made, but some of this design work/plot is already looking off to me, again... as a fan of the PLOT of all six episodes so far.

I highly doubt there are twins and I don't know if Rey and Kylo are even related or not.

But there is some connection between them. My guess is the force in them both. That is the connection

If Bad Robot and JJ can think they can weasel audiences with actor Benedict Cumberbach as KHAN!....
Then maybe Rey & Ren can be twineses. ;)
It might be that both Rey and Kylo Ren could be alias names & they are in fact related.
It could add depth & texture to the ST.
Don't choke on the hater-ade. Watch the #%*+ ing movie first.

Can we not use people answering "maybe" to an interview's leading questions as proof or hints of anything? What else are they going to say when asked something like that? They can't flat out deny or confirm stuff, so they're forced to say "wait and see!" or "who knows" to everything.

My maternal grandparents had two sets of fraternal twins. My Mom and her brother. And my two aunts.

So there are indeed twins in our bloodline... and though there are plenty of parents among my cousins, no more sets of twins have followed.

We can still say that we have twins in our blood, though.

    I agree, so that's why I think they're cousins.
I believe Rey is Luke's daughter, and Kylo is Han's son.
