Leslye Headland's upcoming Star Wars live-action series The Acolyte has been filming for a few months in the UK now, and while lead actor Amandla Stenberg has talked before about their experience on set, we haven't heard much from the series' male lead, Squid Game's Emmy-winning actor Lee Jung-jae.

In a new interview with Ilgan Sports (via allkpop.com), Jung-jae was asked about his experience filming for his first Disney project. He explained how he will be filming in the UK for another couple of months, adding:

Jung-jae's comment on the schedule seems to line up with Dafne Keen saying that she'll be filming through April as well. Initial reports on the production timeline asserted a November 2022-May 2023 shoot, which could either turn out to be end of April, or the show reserving a few extra weeks for additional filming (second unit, pick-ups, etc).

With The Acolyte set being not too far from London, it's entirely possible that at least part of the cast will be part of Star Wars Celebration 2023, either inside a panel promoting the series or as guests signing autographs and taking pictures. The event will take place on April 7-10 at the ExCeL Centre in London, and single-day tickets are still available here.

The Acolyte will be hitting Disney Plus sometime in the first half of 2024. Stay tuned for more news coming soon!
