Filming continues as normal for Andor season 2 despite the absence of showrunner Tony Gilroy from the set, and on Sunday, June 25, they returned to a season 1 location. It's the Canary Wharf station in London, which was already used during the first season of the show to depict the exterior settings of the ISB offices on Coruscant, and which was filled with greenscreen backgrounds for the day. (Make sure to check out our story on how to visit this spot here.)

Images of cast members, along with extras dressed in Imperial uniforms, popped up all over social media. For instance, notice Dedra Meero (Denise Gough) facing opposite the camera, next to Major Partagaz (Anton Lesser), who is facing the camera, in this one, courtesy of r/Andor:

Additional images, compiled by Bespin Bulletin, can also be found below. As the website points out, the first season also utilized this set during one Sunday, taking advantage of lower attendance at the station; it will likely have gone back to normal by the time this story is published.

Andor season 2 has been filming its 12 episodes since last November. It is scheduled to wrap production this August, and from what we can gather, it looks like they will be hitting that mark. It was said during Star Wars Celebration that it is targeting an August 2024 release on Disney Plus.

At this moment, it is the only live-action Star Wars series in production, as The Acolyte wrapped last month and The Mandalorian, which was supposed to go back into production in October, is delayed indefinitely for now. For now, all eyes are on Ahsoka, the next Star Wars show to be released on Disney Plus, on August 23.
