Lucasfilm and Marvel Reveal Alternate Comic Covers for Pride Month Ahead of June

    In honor of Pride Month, Lucasfilm and Marvel have once again collaborated on a series of alternate comic covers. Each one showcases stunning works, including some that depart from traditional comic art design with a fun twist as well as a special Star Wars logo. There’s plenty to admire in this collection.



    Each alternate cover was created by an LGBTQIA+ artist and features an LGBTQIA+ character, ranging from newer characters, such as Sana Starros, to the well-established Dr. Aphra, and many more. Five covers have been revealed ahead of time, also including a small bit of commentary from each artist on what their involvement in the project meant to them. Check them out below.

    In addition to the above covers, Star Wars has also revealed they will be releasing alternate covers featuring Cinta and Vel from Andor on Star Wars #35, another Dr. Aphra alternate cover on Dr. Aphra #33, and Kantam Sy from The High Republic on Yoda #8.
