Lucasfilm Showed The Mandalorian, The Bad Batch, Visions Trailers and Ahsoka Stills at Disney Showcase

It has been reported that Lucasfilm debuted new trailers and stills for upcoming Star Wars series at a Disney APAC meeting recently, including The Mandalorian, The Bad Batch, Ahsoka, and Star Wars: Visions' second season, along with a new trailer for the fifth Indiana Jones movie.



Minor spoilers follow for some of these series, so please look away if you don't want to know them.



According to Bespin Bulletin, the trailer for The Mandalorian season 3 was mostly a retread of what we've already seen, except it referenced Din Djarin attempting to make amends for removing his helmet in front of others, and set up Bo-Katan as an antagonist for the season. It also included shots of Mandalore and other Mandalorians. Considering we don't have a firm release date for The Mandalorian season 3 yet, it's unclear when we might actually see this trailer (or a fresher one) ourselves.



There was no trailer for Ahsoka though, which makes sense as it's probably a bit too soon for any extensive footage to be ready. There were three images from filming though -- one was of Ahsoka standing on a circular stone inside a cave, with light beaming down on her, another of her wielding her white lightsabers, and a last one of Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren.



There was a new trailer for The Bad Batch season 2, which should be released soon as it's confirmed to release on January 4, 2023. BB didn't have much information on the trailer other than it was mostly a retread of what we already got in the first trailer months ago, with cameos from Emperor Palpatine and Commander Cody mentioned.







A bran-new trailer was debuted for the second volume of Star Wars: Visions, which teased a variety of stories with different animation styles, including stop motion. Lee Jung-jae also recorded a video from the set of The Acolyte, but of course no footage nor production stills were shown considering it's so early in production.



There was also a trailer for Indiana Jones 5, with director James Mangold claiming that a public release for the teaser trailer is imminent.



Hopefully, it won't be too long before we get to see some of these trailers and promotional material for ourselves. Season 2 of The Bad Batch should get a second trailer soon, seeing as it's only a little over a month away from release if nothing changes.
