Marvel Reveals Obi-Wan Kenobi Comic Miniseries Set to Release in September

Disney revealed today that Marvel will release a 6-issue comic adaption of Obi-Wan Kenobi with the first issue set to be available beginning in September. The miniseries was written by Jody Houser with pencils from Salvador Larocca. Every issue will tell the story of an episode from the Disney Plus series. StarWars.com spoke with writer, Jody Houser, about the upcoming miniseries:

Jody Houser has built an extensive portfolio of Star Wars comics, including Empire, Yoda, Thrawn, and many more. This experience is sure to lend her valuable insights on how best to bring this narrative from the screen to the page.



Artist, Salvador Larocca, also commented on the introduction of this new adaptation:

Similar to Houser, Larocca boasts an impressive resume of Star Wars titles. Beyond those he mentioned above, Larocca has also worked on Doctor Aphra, and the issues collected in Krrsantan: Star Wars Tales.
