Darth Maul: Black, White & Red Miniseries Announced by Marvel

    Darth Maul: Black, White & Red has been revealed by Marvel. Coming this April, the four-issue miniseries will be in the same vein as last year's Darth Vader: Black, White & Red series and other Marvel characters before it.



    Each issue will feature a new creative team, with issue #1 written by Benjamin Percy and illustrated by Stefano Raffaele. From StarWars.com:

    Percy spoke with StarWars.com about his approach to Maul. The writer is new to Star Wars but had a hand in Marvel's Black, White & Red stories for Moon Knight and Carnage. He also is the current writer for the ongoing Wolverine series. Percy said:



    The signature element of Marvel's Black, White & Red series is its art. Consisting only of those three colors forces more creativity and expression. Conveniently primarily designed with those three colors, the Zabrak seems to lend himself to that style. Stefano Rafaelle has previous experience in Star Wars with the Vader: Black, White & Red series. Percy had this to say about Rafaelle's art:



    Darth Maul: Black, White & Red issue #1 will be released on April 24.
