So uh.. Was that Janus Kasmir that took the saber? If so, that would be a very, very nice tie-in to the Kanan series.

I think the guy is the same species, but I don't believe it's Janus. Though, that would be cool. :)

As a comic fan, Immonen is one of my favorite artists. His work on X-Men and other Marvel properties is fantastic. He is very good at lending a cinematic feel to the pages of the books he draws. His work may not be as smooth or "realistic looking" as Cassaday's, but I think he is better at capturing action and I prefer his style.

I don't think deadlines is the issue. My guess is the book is ready for print or already in print, but they bumped it back for the sake of other properties like Aftermath and the other four books comic out. This could have nothing to do with it, but I think it was probably a marketing decision more so than a failure to meet a deadline.

Don't forget that we also learned in "Tarkin" that Sidious converted the Jedi Temple into the Imperial Palace as well, any way you look at it, it should be an exciting ride. I'm looking forward to seeing an illustrated version of the Imperial Palace in the new canon. I'm curious to see if it will be similar to the artists rendering for the Star Wars Force and Destiny RPG.
