Anyone else think of star whales from Doctor Who when reading this issue?

Well this is crazy...I literally just said I have never seen anything like these before. I am currently reading the Old Republic Era Legends comics and I just finished Tales of the Jedi: The Saga of Nomi Sunrider (1994). And what did appear before my eyes? Something very much akin to these creature ships in Vader #5. They are Ore Transports built by integrating manufactured components with the giant exoskeleton of an Ithullian Wasp. Granted, the wasps are no longer living and are only a shell, but I can actually no longer say that I have never seen anything like it in Star Wars.

I think there is some sort of malevolent Dark Side entity pulling the strings.

It would be sooooo cooooool to see some space "animals" in TFA - I mean just imagine those slugs in live action - this would completely blow my mind!

Oh, I know, I just didn't want to get too pedantic with my pun. There was a couple years in college where I basically listened to nothing but Joy Division and The Smiths (I had some angst 20s)

Mechanization vs nature and The Force has long been a theme of Star Wars. Kylo could be a continuation of this theme.

@Kyle... can't wait for your SW #6 review...favorite of the SW series so far...the writer still has the Han and Leia banter nailed and it's confirmed that Boba Fett is a ruthless BMF...I mean he beat down Gorro in this issue...maybe he'll make a cameo in the next Mortal Kombat installment. :)

I really liked the art in this one and the story is probably the best after Kanan!

The leader cyborg is called Cylo. He puts a number after his name to indicate how many bodies he's been through - when his body dies, he copies his memories and personality into another body and starts again. He is now up to Cylo-V.

Thank you! Could that mean Adam Driver's character is named Cylo Ren instead of Kylo Ren?!

Edit: As far as i know, we have just the trading card reverence for his name...
