More in the Solo family?

i would seriously question their parenting skills if Rey was the daughter of Han/Leia... they blatantly put her in harms way 5 minutes after meeting up with her.

come to think of it.... if Rey is Lukes daughter and Leia knew it, you would have thought she would have wrapped her in cotton wool before letting her head off in Kylo Ren's direction.

Han/Leia could definitely have another child about the place... but i'd have thought that she/he would have been kept close by after what happened with Ben?

i suspected that ep7 would bring more questions than answers.. that's about the only thing i've been right about lol.

 

Maybe the deleted scene with the Leia/Rey conversation will enlighten us further?

And on a different note, I for one was a little confused as to why Leia didn't interact with Chewie when he came back from StarKiller, I mean c'mon....

If Rey was 3 or 4 years old the last time they saw her. I'm sure Han and Leia wouldn't recognize her. Especially if they thought she'd been dead for 15 years.

 

Agreed, that was weird. Leia and Chewie literally walk straight past each other like they don't even know each other.
I'm beginning to dislike TFA the more I think about it. There are just a lot of emotional gaps; you can really feel that it's not made by the same person.

 

Yes. I agree. There is good and bad in TFA. And I can feel the lack of George. But, I just make changes and reasonings in my mind to make sense of it all...

I remember there was a casting call rumour going around a few months back for Han and Leia's daughter in VIII. I guess we'll find out in a year and a half.

 

Makes sense. Aside of it, if that's the case, she would have piloted the MF as well as Mom and Dad lol. (That time after the Death Star in ANH counts!!! Lol)

 

jeez i hope not. that family is enough of a disaster as it is. i hope they just focus on fixing what's broken without introducing more complications.

Think about their characters, Leia is always a warrior, a general and a person who love seeing things under control. While Han is an opposite, he is an artist, improviser, someone who always in trouble and somehow he love being himself. These kind of character may have a love-hate relationship, they had a child and that's enough. Remember there is still a war at the time Ben was born. Maybe his parents were always occupied with the war and left him alone, not to mention his father, General Han Solo, who is somekind of a peter pan, he's childish sometimes and don't ready to become a father. Power and hatred are surely pathway to the darkside, but don't forget about loneliness and lacking of love, this happen to Skywalker clan before. Anakin, Luke and Ben are all lonely guys, Anakin found a father-figure in Palpatine just like Luke found in Obiwan and Rey's from Han. Maybe in the time of loneliness, the feeling of left behind, Snoke approached the young Ben, the lonesome prince and introduced him to other assassins named the knight of Ren. I don't think Leia and Han have a second child, probably Han already had one with other wife. But Ben's pathway to the darkside is loneliness. When Rey was born he feel like he was abandon for the second time, this time from his new father-like who he thought would end his pain, his master, his uncle, Luke Skywalker. That's when Ben turned into Kylo Ren.

I think the knight if Ren would be like a western cowboy gang or the seven samurai who once loyal to the. Emperor but after the empire collapse, they have become a masterless assassin commonly known as the Ronin in Japanese.

 

I don't think they have any other children. As a father myself I can't imagine splitting up the family and go different ways just because you loose one child. You still have the responsibillity to your other child/children.

 

I don't think humans are capable of having any Choldren ...

Another reason why Han and Leia shouldn’t have any other children is because of what is not said in TFA. They don’t have any problem talking about their sad family situation so why wouldn’t they talk about Bens siblings? Is there another sad reason why he/she is somewhere else? No I think it would be to strange and confusing if there suddenly is another cho… sorry, child involved with the story.

 

Could be because they think their girl(Rey) died 15 years ago ...nobody wants to talk about that. Ben is still alive and Han had just seen him. Thats why he talks to Leia about him.
