Hey, all. I know its a little late to be chatting about Christmas, but I still love that time of year, and leave all my decorations up year-round. It helps me not to feel depressed, being able to look around at my trees and such, and be reminded of the most joyful season we have.

Anyway, the reason I created this thread was to show off my recent Hallmark ornament collection. My addiction to them has been growing faster than Audrey the plant's appetite in "Little Shop of Horrors". These came in the mail today, courtesy of Amazon. I plan on buying more every month, but I'm quickly running out of space on my tree.

Do any of you collect ornaments, and if so, which ones? Feel free to post images here; I look forward to seeing them.

Right. He's just chillin' on a limb with his trident scoping things out.

Yeah, Aquaman was difficult to position for some odd reason. Both he and The Flash are also slightly smaller than the other DC figures on my tree, which is weird since they're all from Hallmark. The closest comparison among my other ornaments are Iron Man and Captain America, which look to be around 1/24 in scale or less.

I do have quite a few Marvel and DC ornaments on my tree, but I also have a few other non-superhero ones, too. For example, I have Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, and an 8-bit NES controller design. I also have Sonic the Hedgehog not far from where Tails is placed, and I have a Back to the Future DeLorean on the left side of my tree, where there's still some room for more ornaments. But like I said, the amount of spare space is shrinking fast, so I may have to start scaling back my purchases before Christmas 2023 arrives. Hopefully not, though - time will tell.

Happy to oblige, though I was limited in how many shots I could manage. There's some bulky furniture currently in my living room close to the tree, and I couldn't get very far around to the left side because of it.

I don't have any photos at the moment because it's put away for the year but my tree is mostly TV/Movie themed or various pop culture things. Lots of Star Trek and Star Wars ships that have come out over the years (including 4 different USS Enterprises), a Ripley from Aliens in the power loader, a talking HAL 9000, a couple of arcade cabinets that light up and make noise (Defender and Joust), Clark Griswold, a Leg Lamp, a few Grateful Dead ornaments my girlfriend got off Etsy and just random stuff like that. I have two different Luke Skywalker X-Wings, one is the one that came out years ago and I have to plug into this legacy power source with a couple of the older ornaments and the other is the newer one from the Storytellers set which I have all of. And I did the old Vader mask as a tree topper and draped a cape around the back.

I love it but its a pain getting them out of all their boxes and putting all the little watch batteries in a bunch of them and hooking others to the power sources. And some of those Storyteller ornaments are a little too heavy/bulky for ornaments and hard to hang securely.

I hear ya on the hassle of packing it all up, and then getting it all back nearly a year later. That's one of many reasons why I leave my tree up year-round.

And here's another one for my collection: Star Lord from Guardians of the Galaxy.

There's no actor likeness here, so I can only assume that either Chris Pratt wanted too much money, or Hallmark didn't bother asking him to begin with. Still, its a cool ornament, and I'm glad to have it.

I've been a fan of the Super Mario games since I was nine, and today I got this wonderful assortment of mini-ornaments in the mail. I was very impressed with how detailed the paint job is on them, given how small they are and how much I paid for them. Overall, I think its worth it, though; what do you all think?

Three more fantastic ornaments, for my pop-culture themed Christmas tree. Presenting: Ant-Man, Groot, and Rocket Raccoon. I hope you like them.

I finally placed my latest collection of Hallmark ornaments on my Christmas tree...and with the exception of the top foot or so, its starting to look crowded. Still, I love all my ornaments, and I'm grateful to have them. So long as I take good care of them, they should be in my collection for many years to come.
