    Hello Tron, and Welcome!

Your LHS will not be able to order any Bandai SW kits. However, there are already a couple of reputable sellers on Ebay taking pre-payment for the soon to be released 1/72 TFA X-wing and other TFA kits, and will ship pretty much anywhere in the world. There will be many more to follow.

I can also steer you towards my own source for hard to get Japanese kits, if needed.

Bandai makes some amazing kits. Here's the 1/72 scale TFA T-70 they are producing-

    I don't like building kits that small...they're just...small! :) How's that AT-AT coming??

She's coming along nicely. The main hull and upper gun turret are nearly ready for primer. Haven't started the legs or head yet. The hull is taking longer because I decided to include engines. They are based on a couple of 1/48 resin A-10 engines I had left over from another project. They will be viewable through some removable access panels.

I'm still trying to decide upon a final color scheme. Now that I have some toys/miniatures on hand to look at with the dark gray/red stripe First Order paint scheme, I'm leaning towards something along that line.

I can't wait to finish it!

Anyway, you say you don't like small kits...

Here's an insanely small Ferrari F-40 model I recently completed.

It has full engine and interior detail. :D

    Just how small is it?

Yeah, that's the the general rule of thumb. Small kits like the Ferrari that have a high level of detail are few and far between.

There's a fellow named Diego Q. who belongs to one of the modeling sites I frequent, and he does some amazing small scale work. He built this 1/72 scale Finemolds X-Wing, and before I read what scale it was, I would have sworn it was one of the larger 1/48 or 1/35 X-Wing kits-

    So do I. Still!

There's no word at all on availability of the SD model. At this point I'll just be happy to have my Bandai T-70 kits show up...

Hi There. I have several Bandai Kits (X wing, TIE, Advanced TIE, Y-Wing, AT-ST, and Speederbike) but have not been able to find the At-At. I was under the impression this was not yet released but your above response seems to argue against that. Where did you get one? Can you direct me? I NEED it!!!
